Hey classmates,
It's a pleasure to make your acquaintence. My name is Carolyn Marquess, I'm almost 23 years old, and I'm a Junior here at KSU. I'm an English/Education major, and I ultimately want to earn my Master's Degree in Special Education and teach at a high school level. Hopefully, I can get through my Master's a little quicker than I have gotten through with my Bachelor's. (Ha)
I am a huge Beatles fan (I actually have a Beatles inspired tattoo), and I'll take any excuse to sing a song of theirs. I love to read, and help others in any way I can. Spending time with my family and friends is basically the only things I have time for between my 15 hours of class a week, and a full-time serving job at Loco's Pub in Alpharetta.
I am very excited to get to know all of you during our semester together.

What are the chances? I am a huge Beatles fan as well. I have read several books on them and have seen almost every documentary ever made on them. My favorite Beatle is George and I love the song Dera Duhn.

I also love the version of "While my Guitar Gently Weeps" that Tom Petty and Prince did when George was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

ReplyDeleteSince you mentioned that you love to read, I feel inclined to ask you what you read. Does any particular genre hold your attention, or do you read non-fiction, autobiographies, scientific journals, manga, classics? Sounds like you have quite the busy schedule. I imagine it would be difficult to find the time to read much for pleasure.
